Continuing Education Requirements

I got my real estate license BEFORE July 1, 2010.
If you have NEVER renewed your license before, you must complete:
- a 30-hour Real Estate Practices course;
- 30 hours of other approved real estate courses, including the three-hour Core Curriculum course; and
- a 3-hour Transition Course (you need to take this course only once; it is not required for subsequent renewals)
If you have renewed your license before, but are now renewing it for the first time since June 30, 2010, you must complete:
- 30 hours of approved real estate courses, including the three-hour Core Curriculum course; and
- a 3-hour Transition Course (you need to take this course only once; it is not required for subsequent renewals)
If you are renewing your license for the second time after June 30, 2010, you must complete:
- 30 hours of approved real estate courses, including the three-hour Core Curriculum course.
