The Rockwell Institute is registered with the Department of Licensing and will comply with the requirements and educational standards established by the Real Estate Commission. In the event of any dispute concerning the terms of this agreement, in addition to any other legal remedies or relevant Commission regulations, either party may seek the assistance of the state Attorney General's office. Prior to seeking such assistance, however, the parties shall attempt to exhaust all institutional grievance and appeals procedures.

Class Times and Days - Courses are selectively scheduled and vary in format from one-day seminars to 30-hour courses. See our brochures for specific course schedules.

Cancellation Fee - If you sign up for a live-lecture course but then discover that you cannot attend the class on the date you chose, please give Rockwell at least 24 hours' advance notice of your cancellation or rescheduling. This will allow us to give a student on our waiting list the opportunity to attend the class. If you fail to give Rockwell 24-hours advance notice, you will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Termination by Student - A student may terminate his/her enrollment and may be entitled to a refund, as explained below. Termination must be done in writing and delivered to the Rockwell Institute in person or by certified mail.

Termination by School - The Rockwell Institute reserves the right to terminate a student's enrollment for nonpayment or for conduct that is considered inappropriate.

Effective Date of Agreement - The effective date of this agreement is the registration date, which is the date the tuition is paid. Payment is considered made when a check or cash, for part or all of the tuition, is received by the Rockwell Institute, or when the student pays with a credit card, in person, by phone, or online.

Refund Policy - A student is entitled to a full tuition refund if ALL of the following conditions have been met:

  1. within 14 days of the student's registration date, Rockwell has received a written note canceling the student's registration and requesting a refund;
  2. the student has not attended any classes (for a live-lecture course) or logged on to the course (for an online course); and
  3. the textbook (if any) has been returned to Rockwell in an unused condition.
The refund will not be paid until the written refund request and the returned textbook (if any) have been received by Rockwell. Course materials other than a textbook do not need to be returned. Return shipping will be at the student's expense.

No refund request (partial or full) will be considered:

Satisfactory Completion - A student has satisfactorily completed a course when he/she has attended for the necessary number of hours and, when required, passed an examination approved by the Department of Licensing. A student must complete any course within six months of the effective starting date as explained above.

Student Completion - When a student submits a course for certification, he or she agrees that the registered student is the person who actually completed the course. The student certifies that he or she was personally logged on to the course for the required number of hours and completed the required exercises, quizzes, and final exam.
